It has come to our attention that there are many potential sites external from Wargaming are trying to part you (the community) from your money and want a piece of your pie!
Please be aware that Wargaming does not sell Gold/Tanks externally via anyone else. If you do this via anyone else you do this completely at your own risk

5. How to avoid being scammed when buying gold
You may come across various websites or auctions which offer you World of Tanks Gold at low prices.
Please be advised that these offers are usually fraudulent. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Thus, we strongly recommend you to read the following document and only buy your gold from the authorised payment services listed here.

It could be gold, it could be tanks, it could be a mix of both. What they all have in common is that they are bought with a stolen / fake credit card and you will get in trouble if you accept them! What will happen is that you get the gift (yey!) but then when our payment system reviews the purchase it will notice it's fraudulent and the gift is removed (booo!) and your account will be locked! To unlock your account you will then have to pay the full value of the gift you were given since what's happened is a chargeback. Read more about chargebacks here. So, in short, DO NOT accept gifts from strangers!
