Do wiped accounts keep their research progres and/or consumables/ammo/modules/equipment??
Hardly seems fair, is all
thx for the answer
IPaul72: Hello brko21
I believe the wipe is absolute therefore nothing remains apart from premium vehicles but other tanks will be sold and crews set to 50%.
As mentioned here:
The account-wipe includes: All personal statistics will be set to 0,
All tanks (with the exception of premium tanks) will be sold,
All crews will be removed, the crews of premium tanks set to 50%
All cumulated Free-XP and EXP will be set to 0,
All existing credits will be removed.

IPaul72: Hello comintogetu
Maybe this could be something that could be looked at in the future I will put the suggestion forward.

After having played as much as I do, I think I've seen it all... but also noted that many players scream for all to report some as bots who clearly are not. There are kids and all kinds playing this without any clue (or care) that it is a team effort with goal to win. So perhaps make some good tutorial vids with links on loginscreen, perhaps also in-garage notices like the mangled metal ones regarding these,...hoping that those in need do watch and learn?
Regarding fav non-bot but kind of hopeless player seen so far, one was IS3 who on Port map was up in corner of A0 trying to shoot out the windows of the house there,..when that didnt work...he moved over to the other side to see if he could do it from that side :)
One other was when birds was introduced,.. player raged that he was shooting ans shooting but could not hit them!! :)
IPaul72: Hello _b_
You're right it is very hard to spot a bot, that's why it goes to our support guys who then pass it onto our game specialists who do manual checks.
About the tutorial vids and guides maybe this would be something for a games master to create. But on the other hand this would be like playing hide and seek and then announcing your position every 2 seconds. If your looking for someone it is maybe not the best idea to tell them where you are going to look

So how do you recognize them?
Between an afk-bot and a player who didn't connected to the game there is virtually no different, I would suggest to report them anyway (Using bots and/or participating in battles without actively playing is FORBIDDEN!)
Some back-shooting bots like to stay in the base and return fire when they spot you or you shoot them. Most of these bots return their gun into idle position when you aren't spotted / dead (means gun goes straight forward and at 0° elevation).
That's what I found out studying the bots on my team.
IPaul72: Hello Biohazardry
I agree XVM stats are not too accurate on such matters, I agree and like you said the best thing to do is highlight them anyway and let the people in the know decide and gather the evidence.
To all:
This topic was created to let you all know that we are reading and taking notice of the various topics in the forums and not just about bot/afkers.
We as a community team (Including all staff in WG) play Wargaming products, not because we want to, but because we like to.
We want the products to evolve and will constantly strive to make them the best, much like you do.
Kind Regards all
