I spent minutes slowly getting it out and into a position where I could fire on the nearby enemy. When I did I started to dish out the damage including the kill-shot on at least one tank. I then took loads of abuse saying that because I was shooting tanks that had already taken damage getting the final kill was a reportable issue!! Really, Arty fires on target others spot, its not uncommon to be late to the party, spending ages lining up shots etc. What are everyone's thoughts?

Hunter1911:   No it is most definitely not a banable offense.   You are allowed to shoot at any enemy tank you wish, in any form you desire.   Although knowing where to distribute your damage dealing is important, as artillery packs a lot of damage, sometimes it is wiser to focus on "fuller" targets and leave the heavily damaged ones to your near by team mates. But sometimes your team mates do need help, and you finishing off a wounded beast will be much appreciated.
