HeatResistantBFG: they are not played because they didnt add the real tanks we wanted   Their balancing is very different though, if you compare the WW2 Conq to the Modern Armour Conq, you'll see the pen goes from 259/326/120 to 408/452/260 :D quite the difference.
So yes they have tanks in both, but it doesn't automatically mean they work in WW2 without serious differences which would result in the tanks we already have, hence why it's the same there.
Personally, I like the British LTs, they're fun and reward skilful play while punishing bad play, makes them more challenging to play but the reward is all that much greater.
