I've never seen a Tank just sit still in the open because "They have no Artillery, I'm invincible!"  The biggest campers are those who use their team to scout for them, which means they most likely will be invisible out of spotting distance meaning they don't have to fear artillery, while those who scout for them (read: move) are spotted and therefore have to fear Artillery.   Just look at games with 5 Artys per side, either one team gets the upper hand quickly and stomps the enemy, or if both sides are equally matched it usually (map dependent) becomes a boring long game with everyone afraid to move cause he knows that if he will get spotted, 5 Enemy Artyplayers will start aiming in his direction.   Artillery does not stop camping, it rewards is by the campers being the last that are shot.   Agree with 2-5 of your posts though.

Grimbru:   What I would say is that if a camping target that gets spotted, is usually 'encouraged' to relocate if you still have some arty alive. I'll freely admit my experience is limited but 5 arty a team seems to be a pretty rare occurrence. In games where you have 1 or 2 per team I feel like it just keeps things spicy.    *Edit* Literally 2 games later i'm in a team with 5 arty and we dominated. Fair enough.

Grimbru:   It doesn't take 20k battles to get a decent first impression of the community. I don't claim to be the font of all WoT knowledge just yet. :blinky:
