GDPR: the right to be forgotten & forum posts

Дата: 11.07.2018 13:41:38
View PostTr0gledyte, on 06 July 2018 - 05:24 PM, said: Dear WG staff,   I've messaged just about the entire community staff with not a single response in weeks, so I will try it this way before resorting to filing a report.    My nickname and thus forum content can be traced back to me personally. Therefore, under GDPR Art. 17 I hereby enact my "Right to erasure" and request that you either remove or depersonalize the forum content I have created. Furthermore I would like someone from staff to contact me about this issue in private.   That is all, thank you

Gepard_PH:   Hi Tr0gledyte, Personal data deletion is in most cases not carried out manually, but by an automated system. We have created such functionality for players to comply with GDPR. Our Privacy Policy explains the details related to personal data deletion:

Block Quote You have the right to obtain deletion by us of Personal Data concerning you by deleting your Account via our “Account Deletion” tool available in the Account Management tools. As a result of deleting your Account, you will lose access to most Services, including the Account and Game-Related Information linked to the Account, subscriptions to Wargaming forums and the possibility to access other services you are using the Account for.

Gepard_PH:   If you'd like to know instructions step-by-step, they're available at our Player Support portal.
