Please don't lie in our face and at least mods that are active here- don't try to misrepresent it. It is not a big discount. It might be "happy"- it is a discount after all, but it's not big, not special and definitely not sufficient for the holidays. Another letdown.

-a guy that had 8 tanks in waiting for discounts just in tiers 7 and 8 and an abysmal shortage of credits.

P.S. You want to gauge playerbase opinion on crew rework? Make an in-game poll and sort it by player skill and play time. Me being a casual noob (prolly low-tier skill-wise, I expect), I'm sure my skill and game tier would like sixth sense guaranteed. Newer players don't have access to years of promotions for 100%, BIA 0-skill crews or platoon missions requiring 2k dmg per member, rather than the personal 5k dmg much harder objective.  They want to have the basic sixth sense skill that improves gameplay for scouts and snipers drastically for example.

Higher skilled and experience players wouldn't want it, as they lose an advantage over newer ones. Less easy kills, less mistakes to take advantage of. Lower rewards, harder to do missions.

Falathi:  Hey :)
The discount is not huge, that`s true. Frankly, Top of the Tree discounts are usually noticeably higher, for example. However, these discounts are universal. Also, in the current season, we already have tons of special offers, festive atmosphere bonuses, Santa codes and much, much more - I think that overall there`s a lot we`re offering :)

Block Quote Only question is does WG want to discover this trend? Or perhaps a more interesting one, but an informative one nevertheless? If this trend I speculate with comes to be, which group of players will WG please? Old sealclubbers that already have powercreeped premiums from Frontline and event rewards or new grindiners that try to compete sub-par. If that is the choice, you don't help the top, but prop up the bottom- if history has anything to say about inequality.

Falathi:  We always check the trends and, depending on the data we have we`re trying to foresee the results for the game. Of course you can`t foresee everthing - but usually it works pretty well.

Or is WG relying on algorithms and possibly skil-tier focused data and everyone outside of said skill tier has to deal with it? Discussion is good and worthwhile as long as the company listens why.

Falathi:  I completely agree - and I expect discussion and feedback once more details are provided. For now, I`d say, it`s simply too early to draw conclusions or detailed opinions when very little has been revealed.
