SPGs were created with a certain objective in mind and a dedicated role of a support. I can understand why some people do not like them, but they are a part of the game and I don`t think they would be removed. They can be changed, reworked... well, with upcoming big rebalance they are going to be reworked anyway, but they won`t be removed. The fact that some players do not like them and would like to see them gone is not a good enough reason to remove them. For a moment, let`s assume that indeed WG decides that players are right and SPGs are gone. After some time, players would start complain about wheeled vehicles. Or TDs, especially those that combine decent armor and alpha. Or LTs. Or MTs, because they can be too versatile. Or HTs. People would always find something that they do not like and would like to see it gone, but if we followed it we would end up with the game being empty. And frankly speaking, I`m pretty sure at that point everyone would be just unhappy.
