Falathi: It is just my assumption really - but taking other stance
would likely affect a lot of games as a lot of mechanisms could be
considered gambling. Therefore, I consider such a solution as not
very likely, unless the goal is to ban everything.
We could - at least in theory - end up with a different solution, such as age verification for example, but then for those old enough nothing would change. But, to be frank, to speak more in depth I would have to get much more familiar with the legal situation regarding gambling in the UK as well as more details about proposed regulations.
