Ectar:   It's not just game play reasons. Discounting a tier 8 too much also means everyone buys the bundle multiple times as it becomes a very very cheap method to generate gold. It happened once in the past with a lower bundle and players were buying the vehicle up to 10 times. The people who were buying bundles like that are regular gold users and are not likely to buy gold again any time soon as they're then sitting on a large amount.  Whilst everyone would love cheap gold, on the flip side that's a rather large amount of revenue being lost and you're taking a hit for very little returns.   Monetization in free to play games will always be unpopular with some players and you're never going to have a system appreciated by all. Even if you do, players are still going to complain, especially the ones who want premium content as cheap as possible (or rare stuff to be easily accessible).  At it's core the monetization elements are always optional, they're never a must have. It's up to each player to decide what they want and how much they're willing to spend.    Personally if I want something, If I really really want something and can't afford it now, I set some money aside so I can buy it later. If it's a limited offer I'll hold off and wait till it comes back around. In those situations I expect the same price and would budget accordingly. - Again it all depends on what the item is, and how much I really really want it/need it.
