Should forum sanctions be issued based on reputation ?

Ectar:   I can categorically say with 100% certainty that forum reputation will never be a factor in sanctioning a player.  Reputation is something given/taken away by other players. It has nothing to do with moderation.  When I see a player with high neg reps that means one of a few things:   They post a lot of controversial/unpopular/untactful comments They deliberately troll They have at some point incurred the wrath of a clan/group of players   The reputation on the account means zero when applying a sanction and will always mean zero.  All that matter is the offence you're reported for and your previous warning/sanction history (as serial offenders are treated more harshly as they should know better).   We won't treat someone differently because they have bad rep, we won't treat someone differently because they have good rep.  You break the rules you are treated just like everyone else. There is no selective moderation or 1 rule for one group of players and a rule for another.
