Ectar:

Ectar: I always try to measure my responses to the tone of the
messages directed at me. I find it confusing you both
say the my reply is disrespectful, yet you feel it's perfectly
fine to be sarcastic and mocking and then at the same time act like
your behaviour is perfectly fine. Now fairs fair, you may say
you're not a WG employee but you don't have to be working for WG to
be nice to others on the forums. You're putting words in my mouth
and claiming I don't care about the community which tbh is more
than a little frustrating and hurtful consider the amount of work I
put in to this community. I appreciate your anger is directed
at the company but your messages are addressing me personally
as if I am responsible for what's transpired. Whilst it's my role
here to speak for the company it's not my role to take personal
hits. I act as a conduct between Devs/Producers to players and
vice-versa. I don't make the calls for things like
promotions, release dates and pricing so I can't change those
things. Whilst I may have that information I don't disclose
it because I'm told not to. It's not because I don't want to.

Ectar: Generally if the customer is rude, I straight up don't
reply. I fully agree that the timing could have been more
transparent but at the time we didn't expect this reaction from the
community by choosing a date roughly in the middle of EU releases.
"Oh come on how couldn't you know?!?" - It seriously wasn't
thought of as being an issue because the tank is going to be
available for a few weeks and getting it now or 4 days later really
really isn't costing anyone other than "I wants it now". If
hindsight was foresight then no one would make mistakes to learn
from. Please next time before you come barreling into the
forums full of hot air and ready to give a peace of your
mind/attitude directly to a community team member or moderator,
consider this. We do this job because we seriously care about
the community. We do it to the best of our ability and with all the
information available to us. Sometimes there is information we
can't share for various reasons. Being sarcastic and saying things
like "you should be fired" is actually pretty nasty comments to
make and you're blowing the issue totally out of proportion when
you consider this all because "We thought the EU Fury tank release
date was XXX and WG didn't tell us what the specific date
was/is". If my comments have offended anyone I apologize
for that. I'll be sure to think about how I reply to any future hot
topics.
