Ectar:   Fair point, but then the main point of the NEC was still for manufactures to show off their latest product right? You also have plenty of NEC shows where XXX manufacture didn't turn up for whatever reason.  That doesn't mean the manufacture doesn't care about it's customers. Choosing which events to go to throughout the year isn't as easy as you think it would be, nor is planning them. I assure you after almost a year in the role of Community Manager now, there is lots of different things that happen behind the scenes regarding what events we're able to attended or not and in which capacity.
