We need a list of officially allowed mods

Why is a list of banned mods not enough? Simply because as long as a mod would not be on the list, anyone could use it. For example if a clan member makes his own unfair mod package and share it with his clan in secret, it would be never banned and they would enjoy unfair advantage forever. The only mods that could end up on the banned list are the public mods that WG finds.   Furthermore, once the list of officially approved mods are released, WG has to make sure that players are not using any mods that are not approved. The game needs some sort of anti-cheat to detect any other mod outside of the approve list, for the reason I have explained above about non-public mods.

Ectar:   Sadly an official list of all "ok mods" and "not ok mods"  isn't possible.  It's been discussed a few times but it's not something we're able to do for various reasons.  One of them is as Merdis points out:

Hundreds of mod get created/updated every day, and it would require enormous human resource to test them all. What is worse, it would probably require some developers, not only support staff

Ectar:     Our stance with mods has always been the same. https://eu.wargaming.net/developers/documentation/rules/rules/ Creation of Derivative Works Wargaming.net allows the Participants to use and modify art, models, music, data on game objects, statistical, non-personal data about players, game interface (hereinafter the “Content”) of World of Tanks, World of Tanks: Blitz, World of Warplanes, World of Warships, World of Tanks: Generals (hereinafter “Wargaming.net Games”) in derivative works of the Participants provided they comply with the following conditions: 5. No modifications shall be created which, according to Wargaming.net, bring undesirable changes to the gameplay of Wargaming.net Games. The list includes, but is not limited to: Transparent textures on game objects penetrated by game armament. Replacement of game models with collision models. Explicit highlighting of game objects that may seem dangerous as non-hazardous (e.g., white textures on destroyed tanks). Any changes to auto-aim (e.g., leading targets, automatic targeting of vulnerable areas). Fixing for the player the position of the other players that are not visible by the rules of the game visibility (locking the position of the player that disappeared from sight on map by tracer flares, display of the name of an enemy player that inflicted a non-critical hit remaining out of sight, etc.). Fixing the destruction of destructible objects on the minimap. Camera which is not attached to the position of a player, a “free” camera, able to move in three dimensions, and the use of artillery mode for other types of vehicles. Using keyboard macros in game situations (e.g., automation of work of “manual fire extinguisher”, except for an automatic shot from a reloaded weapon). Indication of an aiming point of other players which is different from its visual representation based on the position of a standard, unmodified 3D vehicle model operated by the player. Full or partial automation sending a vehicle to battle, its operating and firing (use of bots).   Now if you're unsure about a mod. As yourself this question. Does the mod do something for you that you normally would never be able to tell in-game without someone telling you?  Is it showing your stuff on your minimap which normally you'd never know without the notifications/indications/boarders?  Is it clearly giving you an in-game advantage over the enemy team or enemy player you're facing off against (because you have way more information about the enemy that they do about you with a stock interface).  Are you getting realtime/instant information from the mod which you'd normally never know yourself?
