Ectar: I was accused recently of being a "gold ammo noob" in my Centurion
7/1. I explained to the IS-7 I'd shot 4 times in his lower
front plate (he was nice enough to sit on a slight slope each time
for a better angle) that the "gold ammo" is HESH which no one in
their right mind would shoot at an IS-7 head on. (And if it penned
him 4 times he'd know about it). IS-7 was having none of it
and clearly doesn't know the British top guns don't have awesome
HEAT rounds like other nations. Sometimes you just
have to accept that there is players at all tiers who don't know as
much as they think they know. I play in platoons myself as I
get the best enjoyment out the game like that. It's great fun
playing with 2 other people on my level and who I know can back me
up etc or hold their own in certain situations. If people wanted to
complain about that then let them. Heck even if they complain about
gold ammo it doesn't matter, it's something there in-game that
everyone can use. What's next? "100% crew noob," or "rammer and
vents user noob"? Players like the one you mentioned are
best just ignored. There have their own distorted view of things
and that will never change no matter what you show/say to them.
