different (and prob shitty) tanks, over the course of a single
month, to win a second-rate premium tank ??? Couldn't you think of
something a little harder ?
Ectar: No, we have given you an option to get a free premium tank
by simply playing the game with a set goal. Participation is
purely optional.
Lord_Demon, on 15 December 2013 - 10:44 AM, said: Pretty hard task, but the reward is quite big too. Just a
question: I assume it comes with a garage slot. Please correct me
if I am wrong.
Ectar: If you don't have an IS-6, it comes with a garage slot. If
you do have an IS-6, you don't get the garage slot and only get the
gold value of the tank.

tomorrow. Plus, anyone that can afford all of the tanks needed for
this mission probably doesn't need an IS-6. Also, I really can't be
arsed with that much grinding just for the gold amount of the IS-6,
since I have it already. The requirements are way too high either
way. Should be something like, 200 kills, 100k damage, 50k
spotting damage over that time frame, would be much better because
you actually have to do something in a battle. The most viable
tactic to doing this mission is getting each nation's fastest tank
and suicide rushing at the start, go to garage, do it again in
another tank, get the scout xp, play game fast. Doing this
mission properly would not make it possible to complete.
Ectar: It's perfectly possible without the Japanese Tanks right
now, you have 6 other nations you need to get 100,000 exp on first
before worrying about a nation that's not just there jet.
Dongfeng_division, on 15 December 2013 - 12:57 PM, said: So in your words WG decided to give IS-6 for free to all the
freeloaders who would never have the money to buy IS-6 for gold (or
any other WG service) or are so young they are not able to even use
a credit card. While on the other hand paying customers
(working people, people with school etc) are left-out because this
kind of grind is just not doable for them. I must admit I
fail to see the logic behind WG move. It's like McDonalds giving
out free hamburgers to people who never bought one, after signing a
contract they will never buy one in the future either. Does that
make any sense? It doesn't to me. A sane business move is to reward
your best customers, or to stimulate other customers into spending
more money on your products. But well, whatever. No
more gold for you, dirty communists. I like capitalism and
meritocracy. This mission opposes the principles of both capitalism
and meritocracy.
Ectar: If people don't want the tank by doing the mission, they can
still purchase it via the store and it's discounted at Christmas.
JudgeZetsumei, on 15 December 2013 - 01:51 PM, said: They probably have done this intentionally to get money out of us.
We realise it's quicker and easier just to buy the tank than grind
it out and then after buying it we immediately realise we've just
bought a tank we never intended on getting in the first place. I'm
sure there are people out there who end up doing just that.
Even if you grind the 700k xp out you will probably end up spending
gold on free xp conversion to get to tanks you don't have and/or
avoid stock grinds, on credit conversion cos you might not have
enough credits, on premium to ease the grind, on garage slots for
all those tier 6 tanks and on crew training.
Ectar: We did it intentionally because players asked for more
difficult missions. If people would rather buy the tank directly
then that option is still available. (And i'd advise them to
wait until it's discounted later this month). It's not like
this is the only way to get the tank now.
bandit287, on 15 December 2013 - 02:39 PM, said: OR i could spend the time with my family, friends and
girlfriend, instead of doing ridiculous missions. How about that ?
Ectar: Nothing wrong with that. You're not forced to play and it's
not a limited tank that will never return. Enjoy the time with your
family, friends and girlfriend.
Dathdeath, on 15 December 2013 - 03:32 PM, said: But what if 10 of the 15 were suicide scouts and bots? This way
even the useless ones would progress in the missions.
Ectar: Then 5 of the 10 played really really bad to be outscored by
bots and suicide scouts.... They might progress in the mission but
their progress will be very very slow.
Harikusa, on 15 December 2013 - 03:46 PM, said: Why all quests like that made for geeks with all nation 10 lvl
tanks and stuff like that?
Ectar: Well to compete in this mission you only need tier VI
tanks...
