Buckets_Full_of_Bacon, on 17 February 2022 - 03:23 PM, said: @dwigt Two more, (I believe not mentioned), pieces of
constructive criticism: - make the offers which are available
known. This prevents people shuffling for items which are not even
available (for instance offer on bourraque, progetto or EBR 75 FL
10). I know some people who started shuffling for those tanks, even
though these were not available... - Change the discount system
into something more sensible then just letting community vote.
For instance, make a system were the discount is based on
how many people save the bundle.if lots of people save the offer discount 5-10%
if few people save an offer discount 25% Hopefully this will help for the future.
Dwigt: Since players can save up to 6 deals only in their client, but can
like/vote for more, don't you think it's better to keep the
discounts based on the votes?Progetto, and bourrasque rental offers
are still available. And thank you for the suggestions, as I said,
we are looking for your suggestions and feedback to see how we can
improve it.
DroneStrike, on 17 February 2022 - 03:43 PM, said: Still advertising the event when the most desired are no longer
available. Many shuffles with no chance of getting what I would
like. Fist time I flle like I've been conned. Very poor. Dwigt: The event is still running and we are advertising it since there
are still many deals available but we are not advertising the tanks
that already sold out You can check the list and see if the tank
you were looking for is already sold out.
feies_vlad, on 17 February 2022 - 03:48 PM, said: But you can say the same with the lootbox tanks, and some of those
tanks in the christmas lootboxes are OP/broken, OR the Skoda
T56 when it came out last year (and it was in the lootboxes
aswell), there was no limit for that tank yet it's really broken, I
guess it's fine if those flood the servers, or the E25 that was
sold for a WEEK straight not long ago, that is also a broken prem,
I guess those don't count if they "flood" the mm right? Cmon Dwigt,
what you said there doesn't make much sense, but each to their
own I guess... Dwigt: But there is a big difference between releasing a new tank, re
introducing and re using a tank that was introduced recently and
reselling one that was already there for years.
Stats and performance aside, you know that we have different ways of introducing tanks to the game and it also depends on how much the tank is requested, played and other criteria.

casper31, on 17 February 2022 - 03:57 PM, said: Yes it was. And also I believe you were on it and working to fix it ASAP. But why you didn't consider to postponed this event 2-3 days? Probably you could have avoid this frustration from players - just as a thought
List of current available offers when you shuffle couldn't be shared?
Okay I accept the bars with quantity - although if you don't get offer (out of stock) while shuffling them you don't know how many bars there are left on this offer
But mind blowing was your sentence - "you also have other players who can confirm if the bundles were sold out or still available" - I hope this was early April fools joke
Do you go to shop and asking other customers:
- Are they still selling turnips in this shop? Because you want to buy some turnips
And other customers say: - We don't know, but go to the next section, but before that you need to pay to owner of the shop about, I don't know, maybe 75k credits so you can go to next section to find out, maybe there are still some turnips there
Thanks Dwigt for confirmation
Dwigt: I understand your point and as I said, the technical issue was
unfortunate and we are well aware there are much room for
improvement, in all aspects of this event.Regarding the information
around the stock and the analogy you made. Well, to be honest with
you, this still happens in real life, when the stock is limited,
people might ask friends, shop owners, other customers, check
reviews etc... if they can still find it or if they can find
it elsewhere. It's a valid analogy but also does not
remove the fact that we can improve.
Last_of_Ronins, on 17 February 2022 - 04:56 PM, said: More lie WG. Post again the Caravan event without Kirovtes and T-22
Medium. Abuse player to spend credit for nothing. Dwigt: We posted that the Kirovets and T-22 are sold out how is it a lie?
But the event is still running and other deals are available.
casper31, on 18 February 2022 - 08:14 AM, said: @Dwigt what do I mean by next steps? Well maybe it is your first job in corpo, but normally in crisis or fire situations, "unexpected technical issues" should be fixed in less than 24 hours (4th day it is still have technical issues) or this should be turned off, some compensation (yeah but I know that won't happen) to customers and maybe some official statement about this. You are community manager, right?
But it looks like WG is hiding head in sand and just flow to the end of it. Removing some posts from forum won't change reality that damage is already done. It is up to you (not you @Dwigt personally but to WG) to fix it somehow.
Dwigt: Not my first no
I can assure you that the devs were monitoring the
situation even closer and, as you already know, they were
informed about the technical issues. I am pretty sure that all
options were considered and as Community Managers we were
doing our best to support them by forwarding those issues and of
course your initial feedback since the launch. (even the
announcement). We surely want to fix it and ofc launch it without
any bugs in the future.Again, we learned from this one and we know
there is room for improvement
We did not remove posts from the forums (except the ones
breaking the forum rules) neither hiding our heads or else I
wouldn't be here.
MagicInTheSummer, on 18 February 2022 - 09:55 AM, said: I absolutely love how this guy always tries to defend
wargaming's major f-ups, instead of actually assuming
responsability through actions, for this absolutely atrocious
event and admitting wg messed up,. "We are sorry" and
then doing the same thing again next timet doesnt count. But
this is what you been doing for years. If you were really sorry,
offer compensation to the players. Otherwise this is just
bs talk as usually. DIsgusting behaviour. He would make a
pretty good politician. His "party" milks players from a ton of
money without giving anything in return, the tries to shift
away the blame from themselves even tho it is clear they are
responsible for everything. Bet I am even gonna get banned for
criticizing this regime. Dwigt: Haven't considered it but thank you. However, if you carefully
read my first my post, the first thing I mentioned is
that I am not here to defend and justify the technical issues,
for that we apologize, but I wanted to communicate some info,
answer some of your questions and concerns and assure you that your
feedback and suggestions made it through. It is my duty as
Community Manager to come here, clarify some of the issues and also
defend the company, game, events and devs I represent whenever
it's needed. It is the first time trying this concept and we
admitted that there is space for improvements. Your constructive
feedback and suggestions (about the event not my
career
) are welcome and we are very
thankful for that!
