They really are making it hard to spend money that is actually burning in my pockets.

The upper management is to blame. They take those poor decisions and let the devs and the CM's to get the heat. And the CM's are getting the worst part, because is their job to defend the company,

Dwigt: First of all, I am positively surprised and pleased that you guys thought of us :D
We are here to report your feedback and impressions on all of our features no matter if you liked it or not. Even if sometimes we can get into some disagreements, remember not to take anything personal and that everyone here wants the best for the game.

Dwigt: The look interesting, they might have a backstory...

Dwigt: Not sure if that's considered as discussing/promoting illegal activities :sceptic:

Dwigt: those first 2 deals seem interesting :)No you don't have to click on certain cards to get better/different deals as said in the article.

However, you have to maintain the excitement all the way from the first drawing them in (your news post), until they complete their impulsive action (buying your stuff). If you instead disappoint them, e.g. by calling full priced items a 'deal', you are worse of than not offering the 'deal' at all as instead of creating a happy customer from a basic customer, you created a disappointed customer. Let me illustrate (sorry, don't have time to create a PowerPoint suitable for marketing meetings): Customer + no deal -> Customer (no change) Customer + good deal -> Happy customer Customer + bad deal -> Disappointed customer   Now, technically, a 'deal' does not have to be have any sort of discount associated with it. By buying something from your website, we are making a deal that my bank will transfer a certain amount to your bank, in exchange for an item to be available for me to use in the game. That is a deal.   However, while that might be the definition of 'deal', the psychology behind the word 'deal' is quite different. When people see 'deal' they are expecting a 'good deal' (for them). That is just how consumers are used to, and expect. So in this sense, if the customer expects a 'good deal', but don't get any deal at all, it is seen as a 'bad deal'.    On a personal note, while I am suffering from a bit of 'deal overload' from the last many offers available, I was considering getting the 'Berlin 4' package, and/or the Lansen C. But after seeing this today, my disappointment is causing me to consider stop playing. I like this game, and I want WG to make money so they can keep the game running. But this is just a slap in the face.

Instead of win / win = having decent deals for players and some revenues coming, I feel like being scammed and I won´t spend any money in this event and any others in the near future = lose / lose. GG guys.

Dwigt: Thank you for both of your posts and feedback and I'm sorry that you couldn't find any interesting deal in today's pick.As VikingNewfie said, deal does not mean discount. Even if the word "deal" has a different association and meaning behind it, it should be considered as an agreement. If you like it and find something interesting then we have a deal, if not then maybe come back tomorrow but it's not in any way a scam. No one is forcing you to buy them and we want to make sure that you're getting what you paid for. If you didn't find any interesting deals today, maybe check out the website tomorrow and you might find discounted or rare offers.
