If they get destroyed, they are almost always full hp, or more than 80% hp. If my own tank gets destroyed it just stops moving and does't explode. The hud in the left corner of the screen works properly, but doesn't relay to the information displayed above the tanks. Tanks outside the viewrange do get destroyed.
