Dwigt: We're always trying to come up with new and exciting content! So far we announced 3 new maps and a Kraftwerk map rework but I'm sure we'll have more of those news! :B

Dwigt: Every Heavy Tank player nightmare :) Canyon will have plenty of covers just by looking at the images. If you're Island, let's hope your LT and SPG will do their job! We'll have to see that when the maps come to CT.

Dwigt: Really, I always thought it was city maps :sceptic:

Dwigt: Maybe Mines and Island look slightly similar in the middle but the entire right side looks different. Maybe you'll get to see it when the maps are released on the CT servers.

But I see two majors design cons, that are again implemented like on most every new or reworked map, this needs to stop: - the "non natural" artificially-straight rows-of-bushes for softcover on ledges/ridges. Some of are placed too near the base caps.   Take the bigger open 'in-between' terrain of area 6/7/8 line, with the ledge base campers (5 line) one side + def side on the other ledge (9 line). The area in between has one meager dune ridge that could act as los breaker, but that is about it I'd like to see a smaller river with at least a 2nd dune ridge, that act as line of sight breakers to the ledge campers near the bases and perhaps some "old rancher shacks" as destructible buildings on the rivers edge.   For the rest of the terrain in general (goes for all maps imo), more undulations that function (los breakers) for would be beneficial on some current too flat open looking approach routes.

Thank you for sharing the video and your feedback. In a vastly open map such as this one, you should always provide some extra bush cover for your TDs to support your LT and MT so they can take their shots without having to drive up and down behind the dunes. It's not a good spot to camp the whole time since you're going to get spotted after your first shot.
