It is confusing and kind of scam from your side WGCrew book description simply states "XXXXXX experience to each crew memeber"
There is not a single word about some factor x5 which converts "free book experience" into a "crew experience" Description clearly states this (example for 20000 exp book) 20000 exp for each crew member means 20000 exp for each crew member And in reality each crew member gets only 20000/5 = 4000 exp Such a fraud behaviour...typical

of one of my crew. In the first two images I used the Training
Booklet for 20 000 XP (crew XP) and in the second one I used
the Guide for 100 000 XP and as you can see, it's pretty much
clear that each crew member gets the amount indicated in the
description.This is in fact crew XP and you can learn

difference between Free XP and Crew XP is that Free XP is used to
unlock tanks, train crew but has a conversion rate if you wish to
train your crew faster. We do have limited time discounts but it
has nothing to do with the crew books.The info is out there and
available for anyone.
