Dwigt: Yes it is a question of simplifying the tech tree and making it
more accessible to new players. You'll find it easier to go through
the tech tree and save yourself a lot of grinding, time and xp to
research tanks that you will keep and play. If you want to
play tanks like the M3 Lee or the Hetzer you can still buy them
with credits. The show/hide option would have worked like you're
saying if the tech tree was more linear.
