Nothing in the GDPR is stopping you from doing so. Because all the
mechanisms in the GDPR are still adhered to. The very point
being is that you are hiding behind GDPR, which you don't seem to

names on the forums and making it public is not permitted and
won't happen and it's a completely different thing than having your
name displayed on the forum when you post a comment so we recognize
who's posting.
