them. You will still have the tanks you already own but in another
tab.

shell rebalance and HP buff just doesn't work with +2 MM.
HE/HESH just leave it as it is please. All it achieved on the
Sandbox was ruin so many iconic derp tanks. Lower tier HP increase
a good thing, I welcome that change, it also has the side effect of
lessening the chance of said derps one shotting tanks. DO
NOT remove lower tiers, this is a game about diversity and choices,
it will soon become a very bland lower tier experience. It is
not difficult whatsover to work out which line leads to the tank
you want to play at tier X ( even for new players ). All you have
to do is streamline a few tanks here and there and add them to
collectors vehicles. Not decimate whole tech trees.Dwigt: The diversity will remain in low tier ranks and now I think
that low tier players will have a better and much cheaper choice
when choosing what tanks or type they want to play.Once you reach
tier 6 you'll be able to go back and buy lower tier tanks. I
totally agree with you that the tree should be more linear with
less branches and I think that what's we are
doing.
Zhu_Bajie, on 19 February 2020 - 03:53 PM, said: Good to know, that tanks removed from tech tree and moved to
collectors are not gone from the game - however - several tanks are
unnecessary casualties to your tech tree rework:Those tanks that are not being removed or directly replaced are moved up and down the tech tree and their characteristics and armament being changed drastically.
This is not acceptable, as it means those vehicles are basically being removed from the game entirely, since you are not able to keep them in their current state respectively - as a collectors vehicles.
for instance the cruiser Mk II is a tier 3 tank now with a HE gun and will lose that game play, if the gun is removed and the tank is moved down to tier 2, the same goes for the tier 6 Sherman jumbo, that loses its popular stock turret and 105mm HE gun configuration, when it gets moved to collectors status.
There are countless more instances of similarly unnecessary and frustrating changes to vehicles in the tech tree in your sandbox. In general i can only disagree with your conclusion that this saves time, experience or credits of anyone - since no one is forced to play any line they are not interested in. yes you have to start at tier 2 or 3 playing tank destroyer, light tank or medium tank respectively, but that makes sense to learn the play style before you get to play tier 5 and 6. Your streamlining only does following negative things with little to no benefit to anyone: it removes variety from the game, it needlessly changes characteristics of beloved low and mid tier tanks, it encourages players to move up the tech tree faster and dumping those players among af far larger number of experienced players as the should meet if they played more at low tiers. With utmost sincerity i hope that you will not change the tech tree in a way so that we cannot play individual tanks in the configurations or tiers that they are in right now. You will surely destroy the experience for lots of players for no reason. Why even switch the cruiser Mk II and Mk III? Is it really such a big deal that one has a II in its name at tier 3 and the other has a III in its name at tier 2 - so much so, that you are willing to alienate people by changing them? Really ask yourself is it worth it? Because even though i can't know about everyone else, but i know a players who will stop paying and playing your game because of these useless changes. It is very disappointing to see how you are treating your community, especially those who have been with you for long and that enjoy all the tiers of your game. Yes this was "only a sandbox" and i like the idea of sandbox server, but the way you have reported, talked and previewed the changes in the sandbox just made it abundantly clear, that this was really something you wanted to implement... Who knows what abomination comes next? And it suggests to the community that you don't seem to know much about your own game, its success and why its popular, no matter if you are just brainstorming, spit balling og pulling these kinds of changes out of an magic eight-ball. Changes are needed and changes can be beneficial - just in this sandbox server everything was wrong, except the notion that low tier tanks need more HP. When you touch premium ammo, you need to make sure that tanks or tiers that require those shells in many situations get re-balanced accordingly, so that they wont be just plain worse off.
Dwigt: Thank you for your comment, I appreciate your honest
opinion. Regarding the tech tree changes and in game
diversity, you can see my answer below and that's what I honestly
think about it. As for the sandbox server, it's not the fist
sandbox we released. It's an opportunity for you to test what
we think should be added or changed and off course a chance to tell
us what you think about it. If it will take another round of
testing then we will be ready and happy to get your constructive
feedback once again.
