The Black Market is Back!

Дата: 13.02.2020 18:12:23
View PostPablo_Rob, on 13 February 2020 - 12:20 PM, said: Got my response from WG re SU 76i issue:   "CLOSED Greetings Pablo_Rob,   Thank you for contacting Wargaming Player Support.   We are sorry for the issues you have experienced during the Black Market SU-76i offer.   Players who owned the SU-76G FT when the SU-76i was made available were not able to participate in the offer. Sadly, if you have missed the chance to get the tank there is no possibility to offer the vehicle again due to the limitations of the Black Market (only fixed number of the vehicles is available and nothing more) and wild nature of the event itself.   We hope that nothing like this will happen in the future Black Market (assuming it will happen again).   Thank you for your understanding.   Best regards,"   it's 6 days later so I'm no longer so emotional about it but I'm still pissed off; I've been a loyal supporter of this game; I'm a collector of the tanks and this tank has never been on sale since I started playing the game.  To be unable to buy it because of MY loyalty to the game and WG FECKING UP then have them tell me 'tough' is a line crossed for me.   If there's a Black Market event next year I'd put money on the SU 76i being included - and you can bet it will be an auction (same process as Type 59 G) because this years fck up will 'increase' the value.  Insead of 15k gold, next time it will be 25k gold plus.  So it's not in WG's interest to help players, it's in their interest to make the tanks rarer and / or more notorious.   I like the game and don't really want to walk away.  Last year I stopped buying premium time in protest to the increased pushing of premium tanks and ammo (I buy premium tanks, why should I also have to buy premium time - that's like subscribing to Amazon Prime twice).  This time I'll stop using premium ammo completely.  I've already had someone rage at me for not shooting premium ammo to kill an enemy, well, TOUGH.  I will happily watch my already crap stats drop.   The more you fck me over WG, the more you push me to be a full free to play player.   Pablo Rob

Dwigt:  Hey man, I totally get your frustration. We blew it on this one and we tried fixing it on the spot by crediting the correct tank to the players who were able to buy it. But as Cheezix said, we can not giveaway tanks for every player that submitted a ticket. Again, sorry about that!

Everyone is literally counting down the seconds! Not knowing which tank will pop up makes my curiosity grow enormously. Everyone is trying to find info and leaks and possible tanks that might appear. Getting the opportunity to buy a few rare tanks was great! Auction: I like the idea of giving a wider time frame so many more players have a chance of getting a tank they really want.   Con's So many disappointing choices for tanks: Some double tanks that were sold last time such as the FV215b 183, Caerarvon AX and Type 59 G. Type 59 G last year was already a disappointment for me, because we had no info on it and it turned out it had only a gold skin and not the Chinese double credit and xp bonus for which it was so famous for.  AMX 13 57 was sold in December (worth 5000 gold) so selling the GF now for 7000 gold wasn't really logical imo. Schwarzpanzer 58 is the least out of meta tanks from all the tanks that were painted black, but still a kind of weak medium tank in today's meta.  The only real surprises were the rare tier 2 and 3 tanks, but many players don't care enough for those tiers. So many options for rare tanks are available and so few were used. If the theft needs to look a little realistic there should be many tanks for sale that are completely new or super rare and also higher tiers making them extremely wanted. Or even tanks that were removed, because they were too powerful in the old meta or other reasons while many players loved them. For example, the WT auf E100 would be fine in todays meta with it's abundance of high tier light tanks and wheeled vehicles. It's very vulnerable once spotted, because it's huge, has no camo and literally anything can pen the turret from any angle or range. Would love to have seen a Defender, IS-3A, Obj 703 II (100mm) or even the first tier IX premium tank Obj 777 II.    Promotion video had strange and even false clues. Snow globe tank didn't show up! No KV-5 (it was only a boobs joke) "THE Tank" was just the Type 59 G again, which was not special anymore, because it's only a very expensive skin sold last time already. Wargaming EU Youtube channel showed a clue which looked a lot like a T-44-100, which was false? Or was it supposed to be the Type 59 G? The tank with 3 guns, but the drawing was upside down; still nobody knows which one they meant. Was there any tank other than the Type 59 G mentioned as a clue in the promo video? If so, please enlighten me, because not one CC could figure it out!   Auction style can be much improved This auction style is totally blind. It can be much improved by adding:
- a message at the end of how far you were from the winning bid.
- Making the time shorter for bidding, like maximum an hour, so most players can still see the outcome before going to work.
- Making it a more transparent bidding system having an indicator if your bid is kinda safe or not (red, orange, yellow or green). Of course this color will change during the time leading up to the point of sale. A short delay could prevent people from changing their bids constantly. It should be known to everyone how wanted an item is just as in a real auction. This way people can decide if they are willing to bid higher than the majority and be safe. It will eventually result in players spending more who really want the item and players who want to get it cheap taking more risks. For example: my bid on the BT-SV was way too high, because I had no clue how many players wanted this tank and now I feel kinda sad that I lost so much credits, while I could have just bought it for the minimum price.       Hope this feedback is somewhat helpful. :honoring:

Dwigt: Thanks a lot for that detailed post. Already included some of it in my report. Appreciate it and I hope next BM (if it were to happen) I'll have more pros that cons. :honoring:

If I get nowhere though it will also be time for me to become a free-to -play player. Until now I've been happy to pay a couple of hundred pounds a year into Wargaming's coffers in order to 'enhance' a game that I enjoy. However, aside from carefully using up my remaining gold, premium days and bonds I will play WoT in it's vanilla format from now on. If they can't see how wrong they are on so many issues they don't deserve my money.

Dwigt:  I got your message but at that time I wasn't able to provide you with an answer and I didn't want to give you false hopes and I'm truly sorry!
