Why do so many moderators not first warn & then perma ban ? Why so many...

Dakiras: Firstly, 5 days isn't really a perma-ban. Permanent would mean you
were banned permanently. Forever. Secondly, what you're
posting in itself wasn't offensive. Not at all. Joy Division are
actually pretty cool tbh. But then that's not the issue.
Looking at that, I'd have banned you too. Here would be my
reasoning. 1. How is this information relevant to the stream
chat, unless there was a contest surrounding the music you're
listening to. Or if someone asked. 2. Unless you're using a script
to print this message every time the track changes... why on earth
would you include the .mp3 part to the sentence? 2a.
scripts like this are extremely infuriating to everyone that ever
lived. Ever. So... just really think about this. The
moderators have a hard time enough trying to keep things in chat
calm without having to deal with auto-typers and the like.
Final note. It's 5 days. We don't have streams every day of the
week. It'll have expired by the time you visit our channel again.
Besides, let's be completely honest here - much like YouTube
comments, Twitch chat is a place where text goes to die.
Horrifically.
