Tanitha: Playing World of tanks is always fun.
But playing with friends makes it that much better.
- In game voice communication. leading to .. Better communication.
- Knowing how at least some of your team think, and strategies they will probably use.
- Develop your in game strategies with others.
Or, already have a platoon you usually tank with? How about hooking up with another platoon and giving the new company system a go?
Whatever you are looking for..
This is the place for finding more players and developing a reliable, regular platoon (or company)..

View PostW0lfy, on Mar 30 2012 - 03:30, said: As long as there is at least 24 hours between the patch-date and the competition date (which it is this time), I don't see any problem at all - mods, downloads, or any other issue.
My concern was for the Asia-Pacific players for whom the competition time-slot is in the morning. If the patch was deployed less than 24 hours before the competition, they may not have time to wake up, download and update their game (or even run a single battle) before things are scheduled to start.
As it is the competition starts only a few hours after Daylight savings finishes in Australia, so we may well have people showing up at the wrong time anyway!

GeneralDirection: Yeah luckily with the league play there's very little chance of the update taking place the same day. But for other tournaments it's likely that we would delay the rounds by a day if a round was taking place on the same day as an update.

It's not just the game-changes that players have to adjust to, but the patch downloads and game mods and other things must be reinstalled and updated. This process can often take some time, so running any competition within a day or so of a patch is not something that should happen.

GeneralDirection: To be fair, we do not provide those mods so we cannot plan schedules around the timeliness of updating mods not part of the game install. I can understand the possibility of the download itself causing issues, and if it does we will make decisions on a case-by-case basis. We will also not be designing the high end tournaments around the use of mods because when it gets down to live tournaments, we will not be allowing the use of mods.

The various class medals and ribbons such as sharpshooter and kamikaze which used to appear in the stats for various crew members no longer pop up and older ones have disappeared.
You still get notified if you've earned them in a round, but they no longer appear on your crews' charts.
Where do they go?

lord_farquad: The medals have not gone anywhere. They simply no longer display in the crew profile. If you check your statistics screen they are still there.

This is my first and our clan's first tourney like this. I see we are in Div 11 and there are 9 battles scheduled. I understand that the first battle begins Saturday at 8pm EDT, is this correct? Now my question is this. Is the second battle at 8:15 or 8:20? For other Tourney's it was a match with the first to get 3 wins, but this is different. So I'm assuming the battles have to start at given intervals. Since a match can take 15 minutes, I'm guess that interval is like 20 minutes.
Or... is there only one match per night? That would mean we only play each team once.
Could you please detail exactly how this works.
Thank you.

GeneralDirection: It's one battle per week.

Tanitha: Thank you for your valued participation and feedback on the 7.2 public test.
All of your concerns and comments were constantly gathered and sent directly through to the official development team for analysis and consideration on a regular basis throughout the test.
Updates like this one require a lot of planning and review; so although it will not be possible to include all of the provided suggestions and player feedback into the 7.2 live update, please be aware that your feedback has been recognized and will be taken into consideration in the creation of future updates.
I cannot provide an exact date on the 7.2 release at this time, but unless there is an unexpected issue on its roll-out, the official announcement and subsequent release date will come very soon.
After the 7.2 update is released, we will then move onto the 7.3 public test soon afterwards (please be patient for more information on this).
Thanks again to all of the players who participated in the test and providing crucial feedback and data.
See you again for the next 7.3 Public Test. :Smile_honoring:
