less players per battle, deciding whether or not to bring arty is a
harder call than you might think.

realize you keep hinting about next year, and that's great. I
really am excited about what next year will bring. However with
that said I don't think I'm being impatient for wanting a major
tournament or news thereof before 2013.
Most of my other questions relate indirectly to the first. Such as whether there will or will not be a 7v7 ladder / league in the near future(2012)? Also can we expect any events or prizes out of the ordinary as we look to the future?
If I may lord_farquad what is your take on the 42 point system as is? Now that Encounter mode is available and has been tested does it seem viable for future competitive formats?

lord_farquad: I'll be honest, the 7/42 is not my absolute favorite (no pun
intended), however that is currently the global competitive
standard.
I do think that encounter is extremely viable for future competitive formats, and hope to use it more and more often. I think with a 10 minutes timer encounter tends to generate much more exciting matches.
As far as future events, unfortunately there may not be announcements about next year until toward the end of this one, that's simply how business works. I know it's annoying, but obviously we're trying to do larger events this year as well.

understand this part.....
With maximum number of 5 players per battle, a team (up to a maximum of 6 players per team) must field a selection of tanks based on the below tier limits. Teams are also limited to a maximum total of 26 tier points
Does this mean that 4 players use T6 tanks(24 tier points) and 1 uses T2 (2 tier points) to make up the 5 per battle? Or do we use only 4 tier 6 tanks? Your help would be much appreciated by our ever growing clan.

dance210: You got it right the first time. The total tier points needs to be
26, spread across the five team members. Some examples: four tanks
at Tier 6 and one tank at Tier 2; three tanks at Tier 6 and two
tanks at Tier 4. Good luck!

Veterans day is a common wealth day of remembrance. Not only was the banner of a Canadian monument and a Canadian veteran ( see poppy ).
BUT the fact that War-gaming North America only chooses America veteran charity's isn't right.
Replace the banner and embrace an American only stance or please be kind to the fact that we Canadians have soldier who died and fought for the same freedom we both enjoy.
I am not trying to say I am against giving to veterans but its insulting to not include Canadian charity's into the list.

GeneralDirection: We've donated to a Canadian veteran's charity in the past. We
generally change most the charities each time. We're more than
happy to listen to suggestions for charities, because our research
did not provide many leads for other countries. The reality is we
are based in the United States, and so we are most familiar with
its charities.

Mugsy_: hahaha Having found myself in front of a design contest mob before,
I don't envy the poor fool who'd have to elect a winner in a Design
A Premium Tank Contest.

I think my immediate concerns about the idea of turning off timers completely is those occasions where some form of a stalemate is met or battles dragging on well past the point of excitement. The limited time also should pressure the invading team to push forward. Do you guys have any further thoughts in this vein? ~ Mugsy_

details of what that will look like at this time. But we are aware
of this problem. ~ Mugsy_
