GeneralDirection: Houston for sure. Then again we didn't think Mars Bar could handle more than 60 with the locals included, so we made sure to set the RSVP list at that.
Considering the response, though, we'll likely bump that up a bit for the next event. It's great that these events get such strong turnouts; it really shows you guys enjoy meeting with us and other players.
As long as you keep showing up, we'll keep doing 'em, and we'll try to touch as many cities as possible throughout the year. :)

Yoott: its supposed to be draw goes to the defender.. otherwise the attackers would just hide and play for a draw..... at least the defenders are supposed to be the dug in ones DEFENDING...and a successful defense = retention of the land....
imagine medieval battle....... knights attacking a castle.. but instead they do the Monty Python thing and run away... but still end up with the land even though the enemies are still inside the castle shooting cows at them..

The idea being that people want somethign more competitive than Pubs but less time committment than clan wars. Is that what the open league is for? Or is the rumor of a matchmade bracket without random teams something else/false?

Captain_Judo: The open league grants you access to the minor league which, in turn, grants you access to the major league.
The league is a means to building pro teams and increasing exposure to the global pro format.

Clan battle times

Subject: Clan battle times
Link on message: #3808672

Yoott: The battles are staggered so that the battles fall over the whole spread of US timezones.... ie. the early battles start times may not be best for PST players(I agree) but the late ones will be better for PST then EST... as they get done too late for alot of clans to have EST members on... way after midnight in some cases....
its actually an improvement because the old times on east EU map were even earlier starting and none ending later.... this overall is a better spread into the different TZ's without giving any hideaway holes where clans that can field a team at 3pm - 4pm can hold land uncontested as is done now on EU map in some spots... now anyone trying to do that can be attacked as the time is more available for players then it had been.
as long as they make the property spreads even as far as number in each timezone it will be better then it ever had been on EU and Africa imo..
P.s You know that 15 min time in between your first post and last isnt enough time for replies especially on a Friday and after hours if your seeking one from Wg themselves..
im a refresh troll on forums and I didnt even see it right away.

For those who say top tiers lose money

Subject: For those who say top tiers lose money
Link on message: #3808621

Yoott: yes but it has been announced even by WG themselves that top tiers are designed to keep people from ONLY playing top tiers.... losing money or breaking even will cause someone to have to either A> buy a premium tank or premium account... or B>play mid tiers to earn credits.... This also helps keep the MM in check.. anyone that has been too the test server understand what happens when 90% of the server ONLY plays tier 10's ....
Having good games like this is nice.. and well done
but its far from the norm....by design not by bad play////
