dance210: No change in status; they stay in the Major League and try again next season, if they so desire.

Don't tell me "We might extend the entrants." Then say "Well if you don't get in the top 64, you likely won't play."
I feel like a dog chasing his tail.

dance210: At times, they have accepted 128 teams (two full brackets, 64 teams / bracket). I believe this is done only when enough teams apply and can be accepted. So, Judo is being ambiguous because they WILL occasionally accept more than 64 teams, but you can only assume your team is accepted if you are one of the first 64 to apply as there is not always enough teams to fill 128 spots. Hope that clears up some of your confusion...

A) Why not specify that in original announcement?
B) I'm assuming that process is done manually, so who makes that call?
C) How long does it take to decide that?
D) Why can't that all be done in a much more timely manner instead of 2 hours before the battles start?
E) Why not within 2 hours after the first 64 are picked?
F) And finally, will all the remaining teams be changed to Denied after that decision is made?

Captain_Judo: Your best bet is being in the first 64. If you don't make the first 64, then you're unlikely to play.

View Posttrickster, on Jul 01 2013 - 11:11, said: Yes but you keep the submission dates secret or the last modified date is the submission. If the last modified date is the submission date then there is your proof. If you keep the submission date a secret or unviewable then we have no way of proving that the system is wrong. Make the submission date viewable by all to keep everything above board. Other wise let everyone know who can get in or can not get so we don't need to waste time trying to get players interested in these type of events. Thank you very much for your time in responding to this.

Captain_Judo: The submission date is not a secret. This is publicly accessible by modifying the search criteria in the registration.
Next time, go to the registration page and
1) under the "filter by status" dropdown, select "pending approval"
2) under the "sort by" dropdown, select "status change"
The system will then sort all teams that are pending approval based on the time they submitted their team for approval.
This and other useful information is contained in our FAQ.

View PostGenPanzer, on Jul 01 2013 - 13:42, said: I have "checked" your system once and it seemed to be working fine as far as picking teams that submitted first. But, with that said, I'd say your system is still somewhat "broken" as it hasn't automatically denied everyone else. What this does is leaves those teams that are really denied, still guessing and preparing for something that isn't going to happen. If the system can automatically accept the maximum allowed teams, and can identify those teams that are incomplete or over the maximum allowed, why can't it automatically deny everyone else?

Captain_Judo: We leave it open to allow for he possibility of a second, 64 team bracket. Follow the directions I posted above to see where your team stands in the queue and determine if you're likely accepted or not.
