With Tanksgiving this week,  we will not be running on Friday.
This Wednesday from 15:00-17:00 PDT Laera and I will be running a Junior Tank Company.
Anyone who faces our team has a chance to win gold.  A win will earn you 600 Gold,  a loss 300 Gold,  and nothing for a draw.
As a reminder we will be playing on NA West.
You can watch our stream on:  http://www.twitch.tv/wargaming
If you happen to be streaming on Twitch.tv when you face our team you will earn double gold.  All you have to do is send me a link to your stream,  with the time in your stream at which you faced us.  (Sorry I will not watch your whole stream to find when you faced us.)

dance210: It shouldn't be a problem. We know who the captain is, so if needed, we will try PMing you on the forums.

dance210: 1. The message to gamemaster is a way to get in touch with eSports admins. However, it only works if we go to the team page of the captain who messaged us. If you need to reach us, the best way is to send a PM on the forums or in-game or send us an email.
2. After registration is complete and the number of groups are calculated, we will state exactly how many teams will move forward to the next stage. It will be if you have enough points/are in the correct rank, then the team will move forward. The playoffs are a single elimination bracket system, with the winner moving forward to the next round.
3. The winner is determined as the first to 2 victories out of 5 battles. However, it is possible for one team to have 1 win and 4 draws, which is obviously less that the required 2 wins. In this case, the team with 1 win will move forward. It is also possible for each team to have 1 win and 3 draws. In this case, no team is declared the winner and both teams are disqualified.

Hypnotik: Dekklin just brought this to my attention again, and I guess we never covered it in this topic specifically (it has been covered elsewhere). The fame point rank ordering is processed once/day every morning. Even though they may briefly be out of order due to recent battles, players will be ranked correctly on this page after the daily resorting is complete.
If you're wondering why, here's a quick explanation. All regions use the same software, and even though there are only about 28,000 players to sort through in our region, there are currently 270,000 in RU and this number will still grow (have fun with that, Beep). Imagine live sorting through that from a database perspective while updates from thousands of players are coming in at once. Is it technically possible? Sure, and I don't doubt at all the devs' ability to pull it off. It's just far simpler and far safer (more stable) to do a one-a-day cache style sorting system.
So now I get to say that very much loved line; Working as intended, comrades.

I want to personally apologize for the confusion regarding the Gift Shop pricing over the weekend. When the article was originally created, and when the article was posted, a last-minute correction was made to the Gift Shop that lead to the wrong prices being listed in the article. The Gift Shop pricing itself never changed.
The moment this was brought to our attention, we corrected the article for accuracy but failed to be as transparent as possible in the process.
Once again, myself and the rest of the Wargaming America office is incredibly sorry this occurred and we have taken steps to improve this workflow in the future.

Laera: Great suggestion, thanks Magick! We'll be looking in to the possibility of adding this along with a few other words. As you may know, our in-game bad words filter currently has a few hiccups that need to be sorted out.
