+ 3 T5. Or 4 T5 + 1 T3.

will be done later today. 2. Let's say each matchup in the
bracket had a Side A and Side B. The tournament tools fills teams
in Side A, filling every spot. Then, it fills teams in to Side
B. If there were enough teams, all slots in Side B would be filled.
Because there wasn't enough, the tool could only fill some of the
empty slots. If the tool couldn't find a team to fill Side B, the
team on Side A was given a bye. So, why not make the
brackets smaller? Simple answer: it's not possible. When setting up
the playoff, there are specific sizes that it can be, to
narrow down to the Finals between 2 teams. The only options would
be to limit team size to fit within those brackets, or allow any
number of teams to join, knowing that some will have byes for the
first round. For the challenge, we allow any number of teams to
move forward, knowing that some will have byes. Does this
help explain why there were so many byes for the first round?

Anyone Can Join got a bye last night. The byes are because of the number of teams moving from the Group Stage to the Playoffs. Byes generally aren't described in the rules, since it seems to be the basic tournament set up when there aren't enough teams to completely fill the round. I didn't set up the Playoffs, but I would guess that teams seeded higher are the ones that got the bye last night. Let me know if you have any other questions :)

Everybody wins?dance210: Battles worked correctly yesterday. Many teams had a bye round.
Battles happen every other day, so won't take place until tomorrow.
If you tell me your team I can tell you if they had a bye last
night, or you could unhide the battle schedule on the main
tournament page :)
