The_Chieftain: To those within a commuting distance of Baltimore, I'm in the National Archives near DC this week. The guys at Charles's Village Pub, in Towson, have agreed to host us again for a little social gathering, we were there two years ago. It's a little social event, I'll be buying the beer. Pigeon_of_War:   As I mentioned in the front end, this particular Common Test will go up and down this iteration almost without warning. There is a lot of testing being done for this patch. Sorry for an frustration it has caused. 

The_Chieftain: So apparently they -did- make a HVAP round for the T30's 155mm gun. I just found the test results of the shoot.

veganzombiez:   Inscriptions/Emblems will be automatically placed in your Depot, and should be usable on multiple tanks.  If you can only use it on one tank, please let me know and I'll investigate this.   You won't be awarded camouflage until you redeem it directly from the Clan Task menu on the Global Map.  You'll want to apply any existing awarded camouflage before you redeem the new one.

The_Warhawk:   This was my feeling as well. My understanding was that the P-80A had a slight advantage in overall maximum airspeed, as well as an advantage in airspeed in level flight. So ultimately, the P-80A can out climb, out turn, and outrun the Me-262. I'll openly admit I'm not up to date on the dive performance of either aircraft. As Wulfehound pointed out too, the P-80A had a better armament for going after fighters.

Lert: In battle, the 1, 2 and 3 keys load the shells in those slots. Pressing a key once will load that shell on the next reload cycle, pressing it twice immediately starts the load cycle for that shell. You can see how many shells of each type your tank has loaded during battle at the bottom of the screen, the first three icons in your infobar are the shells, followed by your consumables.

Lert:   The dutch sold them because they were 'too expensive' and 'we don't really need them anymore' but we dutch know ourselves surrounded by powerful allies who still have them.   The problem I think with tanks is that "We need them because they have them".   Other than that, there is still the fact that nothing really projects power as well in the eyes of the opponents as parking a current gen MBT on top of the thing you are wanting to keep secure.   Finally, you need only look at Iraq to see what armor can do in a modern a-symmetric conflict environment. It was armor supported by air superiority and infantry that broke Saddam's military. Air superiority is good and all, but airplanes can't hold a strategic objective. Infantry can, but unless you put your infantry in tin cans or send a few of those tin cans along with them, they are very vulnerable. Tanks are simply things that is can hold a strategic objectives, and be difficult to shift off of them.
