The_Chieftain:   In fairness, If HMS Hermes could be retrofitted from steam catapult to ski jump, I doubt it is all that impossible. The main problem is thanking up deck space which could be used by helos.

The_Chieftain:   They are for self-lifting the turret for maintenance. They get hooked onto the wheel, as the wheel turns, they lift up. I don't know if it was ever applied in the field on any vehicle, but one of the Spielberger books shows a model of a GW doing this.

Pigeon_of_War: Hello Tankers! As of patch 9.9, the minimum GPU requirement for World of Tanks will be updated.  Starting from 9.9 we won't support ATI X1800 anymore.  Currently: Video Card: GeForce 6800/ ATI X1800 with 256 MB RAM, DirectX 9.0c.

Sometimes it's a slight hiccup in your network connection, in these cases  Try power cycling you network equipment such as your router or modem.   1. Turn off and unplug all of your network devices. (modem and or network switches/routers) - and if they have a battery, please take them out.
2. Turn off your computer. Leave them all off for 30-40 seconds. 3. Turn them all back on and give them a few minutes to initialize and pull down some new addresses.
4. Clear your internet browser cache. Next please clear your DNS cache. 1) Press the START button.
2) Select All Programs.
3) Select Accessories
4) Select Command Prompt.  This will open a black DOS box.
5) Now type in ipconfig/flushdns and press enter.
6) You should see a prompt that states "Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache."
7) Press the "X" at the top right to close this program.   Please try and update the game again after following these steps, and please refrain from using the computer during the update process.

(It's a lot harder to diagnose an issue with mods installed)   Please attach a WOTLauncher.cfg, python.log and WOTLauncher.log files (sometimes just text files called 'python' and 'WOTLauncher" )  from the root folder in which World of Tanks is installed on your computer (the default location is C:\Games\World_Of_Tanks). ---------- In addition, please compile and attach a DxDiag report file so they may get a clear picture of your computer's characteristics.

GhostPrime: Are you running any Mods? The first thing to try is to uninstall/remove your mods. If that doesn't help, you may want to consider submitting a ticket to support.

The second step is to make sure you are not running any mods, sometimes mods can corrupt game files, and cause errors even after you remove them. Sometimes the corruption lies in the settings, this will cause the game to crash even after a re-install.    If you performed a system restore, you may need to do a clean re-install.
