They let the powercreep succeed, and with no buff to the tanks players will start to look desperate, and here come WG the savior to give you the trade in for 50 % to the tank they left in the dirt. So insted of balancing the game they do this until players dont see a reason to play with tanks that are to obsolete to do any kind of good and are boring to play with. They have been doing this for YEARS. You would know this if you actually played the game.
