View PostRati_Festa, on 04 April 2019 - 11:26 AM, said: Im currently playing the 50 100 with a fresh crew and it seems competitive, especially in the medium wolf pack. I'm quite suprised people are saying its meh.   What are you comparing its against at t8? It's definately not meh compared to a panther II, or cdc, for example, it can outburst anything at its tier, it can pen other heavies at his tier. Its reasonable mobile so it can flex, it definately has "fear" factor and noobs struggle to deal with it. I played the Emil and this just seems to be a better version of that tank.

eekeeboo:   I'm in this camp as well and I'm still surprised the dislike the tank receives when I find as long as you use the tanks to their strengths which is burst damage and taking out isolated tanks, you can have a huge impact in the game, but I understand many over-commit and get themselves caught out.

eekeeboo: I like both, but for some reason, overall I prefer Leopard 1. I think it could be I used it for the old school MT-15 missions and so I feel some form of attachment to the tank :) Never really got to love the 30b as much.    If you haven't tried it though, I suggest you give the STB a go and see if that might be something you like :)

View Postundutchable80, on 04 April 2019 - 12:58 PM, said:   I commented on this in the feedback thread on the EBR marathon. I think part of the problem with the Type of gameplay JT describes stems from the different mission requirements. On paper they look nice and varied, but in practice, if you have 8 players on the "finish top 10 X times" mission, it doesnt matter if they win or lose, so generally they will be dead in the first two minutes (ie spam as many tanks as fast as possible doing 1-2 shots of dmg), rinse and repeat. If the enemy team has 3 players with that same mission, you can see the disadvantage my team has early on in the game. Especially since the rest of us may actually be trying to win, since we are on the "earn minimum 500 base xp X times" (basically means a win or very good play in defeat) or the base xp grind fest (wins give more base xp so you will try harder to win). Separating the former from the latter would be helpful to improving gameplay... If that's possible...

vuque:   Thanks for giving more insight and sharing your feedback! :)

View PostJumping_Turtle, on 03 April 2019 - 11:51 PM, said:   Because these kind of marathons dont bring out the best gameplay from the others. I have seen a few already on this forum telling they will just yolo on tier 6 to get as much battles done in an hour and dont care if they win or lose. gameplay goes down the drain mostly with these kind of marathons and that is not something I look forward to. And since I do not really have an interest in this TD I guess I will just play a lot less. Certainly since Frontline is starting right at the moment this marathon will end. And I feel we are getting way too much marathons, specials, clanwars, events and frontline after another and that is drowning the fun to play a bit for me.   I like to play the game, but dont need events every day. Give me/us some time to do clanthings or just grind the techtrees. A lot in the clans I am in arent even bothered by stronghold or clanwar or advances due to them baing so active in the events every week.

vuque:   Thanks for sharing the reason why! Really appreciated! :)

Landslide losses or victories all too often.   It's almost as if WG want to make it so bad to they'll "reluctantly" reinstate the old MM.   Whatever wins for them not us I guess.

eekeeboo:   Please take the time to read what is discussed and has been discussed and shown in this thread. You will find interesting information that will inform your opinion better.

View Postmarklar77, on 03 April 2019 - 10:01 PM, said:

eekeeboo:   In this case, it is better to form an opinion based on data and evidence rather than "common sense". Common sense was why "The Earth is flat" for so long. If you want to disagree with someone, I would appreciate it, if you did so with less insulting and personal attacks, thank you.

View Postshogun_PL, on 03 April 2019 - 11:22 PM, said:   Actually, it nicely proves that MM is build to 'flatten' everything. All players must fit into the 45%-65% winrate spread (those with less or more are exceptions), even if they are good enough to achieve 80% or bad enough to fall to 20%. MM is not objective in any way, it gives or takes depending on how good or how bad you've played. This is why good players must be unequally matched to bad ones. Along with the rigged RNG mechanism it's the major tool to have everything under control by WG.

eekeeboo:   Once again there is no rigged MM, no manipulation and no distribution more than normal. That's why good players win more and bad/inexperienced players win less.

eekeeboo:   The reason for the nerf is highlighted in the Dev QnA with most of the focus on the vehicle being about the gun and needing to be a bit slower is acceptable for the TD along with the round balancing in the future. For this particular tank, many players complain and report that this tank is OP and with a low skill floor is too strong.

eekeeboo: We appreciate Qpranger plenty! That's why the WoT classic had issues, we let the hamsters out of their cages and wheels in appreciation and honour of valuable players like Qpranger!

eekeeboo: I see some questions with regards to "absorbing" damage, the main issue being that the wheels being shot with not hull hitbox behind them will lead to no damage. You need to make sure you hit the vehicles centre mass and ensure if you do hit a wheel, that's there's something behind it for the shell to go through for damage. If in doubt, use HE.

However, you clearly haven't been around the forum often enough, nor have you bothered to use the search function, to realise that this has been discussed many, many times in the past. Another thing you would understand, had you been around the forum more often, is that WG do not read the general forum. If you want to appeal to WG with any ideas, you need to take it direct to them, either in a support ticket, or by posting in the official suggestions section of the forum. Have you posted this in the French speaking forum? No, of course not, despite your being in a French speaking clan. Why is that? Why do you assume the English Speaking section is the right place to post it and not the forum dedicated to the language of your clan?

eekeeboo:   WG very much read the general forum ;)      15:38 Added after 1 minute

View PostElleriel, on 03 April 2019 - 11:28 AM, said: Dear WG, First of all, I want to thank you for all things you tried to give us better in game fun. But I think you need to know some points : - You want old players to come back on your game but you don't do anything to give them the motivation to come back, it is not your program or giving them gold, premium tanks that will them play again. - Most players who left have flet because of the matchmaking, not the +2/-2 system (but I would love a +1/-1 that's sure) but I played when it was +/- 3 so +/- 2 is ok, with gold ammo, you can most time do something usefull. The big problem is unbalanced mm between good/veteran players and new ones or people who don't have any idea what to do with their tanks. (for example : 50 K played game players with less than 500 win 8...).   I think you should create leagues based on efficiency or something like that (I don't think win 8 is a good base because don't take in count spot, flag capture....). This will make the battles more interesting for everyone, bad players will not be "farmed" by good ones, and games of better ones won't be ruined by errors made by newcomers or unskilled ones.    With such improvements, fun will be back for everyone and I think lot old players will come back and actual players will stop flee this nice game just because of unbalanced matchmaking. (this idea is based on discussion with lot of acual veterans and people who left and won't come back if no modifications are made on this side of the problem).   Thank you for no troll on this topic and sorry if my english is not a professional one.

eekeeboo:   We are happy you enjoy the changes thus far, and while we appreciate your feedback and suggestion, I can assure you that skill based MM is not the answer you believe it to be and that there is currently no intention for it to be introduced.
