The_Chieftain:     Zaloga has generally stopped writing about Soviet equipment because, by his own admission, Russian authors are doing a better job of it nowadays than he can from D.C. This an example of such a case. Zaloga certainly has his merits and is easy to read, but for an in depth description, this is both more complete and more recent.
