castrated. There's a lot of clear parts in the kit, but most
of them have to be cut out manually from a small sheet of clear
plastic they give you. For additional fun, they have you put
in the clear parts in such a way that it's basically impossible to
paint the tank before adding the clear parts. So you have to
mask the clear parts in order to not get pain on them. What a
pain.

The_Chieftain: That single sheet is pretty much standard for 1/35 kits from
1980-2005, I think. What I do is not bother with it, and instead
make the vision blocks after painting is completed by using Krystal
Kleer.

The_Chieftain: It is to my lasting regret that I've never been able to
track my S4 in the US. Firstly, most tracks don't allow you to pay
just $20 for a fifteen minute jaunt, they want you to pay hundreds
for the day. Secondly, I have a convertible, and most tracks won't
let you run a convertible, for liability reasons. Idiots. Just look
at how much fun Nurburg is. Of relevance.
