what you think! General QuestionsQ: Will you add the
WZ-111-5A to the branch? Yes, the tank (as well as the 113 heavy
tank) will be available for research from the WZ-111-4. Q: Why
is the WZ-111-5A better than the IS-7? A: The new Chinese heavy
tank features a different gameplay: its hull is less armored,
besides, it has vulnerable spots on its turret, which makes it
difficult to fight in close-range encounters. On the other hand, it
has more accurate gun compared with the IS-7, which allows it to
fight at medium and long distances. Moreover, improvements to the
IS-7 were announced at the Super Test. These improvements will
determine the vehicle gameplay more precisely. Q: Why the 113
became a Premium vehicle at the Chinese region, while it was not
changed in other regions? A: We do not implement Tier X
Premium vehicles in NA: these are the specifics of the Chinese
region that are not applied to other regions. Q: Will you
remove the 113 from the game? A: Currently, we do not plan removing
the tank, it will remain available for research. Q: What about
the Chinese tank destroyers? Why are they available for China
only?Currently, this branch introduced at the Chines region only.
However, we know that players at the RU region would like this
branch to be implemented here as well. Follow the news. Q:
Will there be any rewards for completing Bootcamp objectives?A:
Players who have never completed the Tutorial before will receive
500 gold, 3 days of Premium account, and crew with the Sixth Sense
perk trained to 100% upon completing Bootcamp.Details on Bootcamp. Q: What have you
improved in the matchmaker? A: We have improved the balance between
vehicles of different types on both teams within one tier. It means
that there will be fewer battles where on one team light tanks are
at the top of the list, while on the other team light tanks are at
the bottom of the list.SPGs can now play in Platoon, however, their
number is limited to one SPG per Platoon. Apart from fixing
the major issues, we have made some changes to the team panels, so
that players can easier understand, which enemy vehicles are left
in battle.New order of displaying vehicles by type: heavy tanks →
medium tanks → tank destroyers → light tanks → SPGsBy name: names
that start with a number → names in Latin → names in
Cyrillic.Details on the matchmaker in Update
9.19.1 Q: Is damage to enemy vehicles stunned by you
counted when calculating the progress of obtaining Marks of
Excellence? A: Yes, damage caused to enemy vehicles stunned by you
is counted when calculating the progress of obtaining Marks of
Excellence. This damage is counted, as well as damage caused to
vehicles immobilized by you, and damage caused to enemy
vehicles. Q: When are you going to improve the technical
characteristics of the U.S.S.R. vehicles? A: We have already
started demonstrating the changes announced at the Grand Finals:
Changes to some Tier VIII–X medium tanks, changes to the IS-7 and
Tier VIII–X tank destroyers of the Object 268 branch. We will keep
sharing new information as soon as we are ready. Q: Why did
you restore the possibility for SPGs to play in Platoon? A: When
testing Update 9.18, a Platoon of three SPGs was a significant
problem: if three SPGs focused their fire on a particular vehicle,
the target vehicle could hardly survive. There were two possible
solutions: either tolerate this situation, or disable the
possibility for SPGs to join Platoons. We have chosen the second
option. However, after Update 9.18 was released, many SPG players
complained that they could no longer play with their friends. Thus,
in Update 9.19.1 we improved the matchmaker, so that an SPG player
can play in a Platoon together with their mates driving non-SPG
vehicles. Q: Are you going to make any changes to Premium
vehicles with the preferential matchmaker? A: Over the recent
updates we have been collecting data on Premium vehicles players
purchased, including Premium vehicles with the preferential
matchmaker. Currently, this data is being analyzed, as well as
feedback players shared. The final decisions will be made according
to the analysis results, in order to meet expectations and
requirements of the game community. When ready, we will reveal all
other details. Q: When are you going to add new maps? A:
Currently we are reworking all the current maps into the HD
quality. We are also working on a new map (with dimensions of nine
square kilometers) for the Frontline new mode and several maps for
a different mode. All efforts are focused on implementing them into
the game as soon as possible, thus we are not going to implement
new maps for Random Battles in the nearest feature. Q: Why do
you rework low-tier/unpopular vehicles into the HD quality, while
some top-tier vehicles remain unchanged? A: Vehicles are reworked
into the HD quality regardless of their tiers. Do not worry, soon
we will rework all remaining top-tier vehicles into HD (there are
very few vehicles left). Q: Are you going to rework other
Personal Missions? A: We are monitoring the difficulty of
completing the Personal Mission and make changes in case it is
necessary. If we change any Personal Missions, we will definitely
inform you. Follow the news. Q: Are you going to introduce a
new season of Personal Missions? When?A: Yes. The first season was
very popular among players, and they would like another season to
be introduced. It is currently in development. Q: What changes
were made to profitability? A: Players will now earn 20% more
credits and experience for damage caused to stunned enemy
vehicles. Q: Why did you decide to increase profitability? A:
When analyzing the new stun mechanics after releasing Update 9.18,
we have decided that players should be rewarded for causing damage
to stunned enemy vehicles, thus we have increased the amount of
credits they earn for causing damage to stunned vehicles by 20%. At
the same time, we keep monitoring the new mechanics and modes, in
order to make required improvements. Q: What changes were made
to the penetration chance indicator in the aim? A: We have reworked
the penetration chance indicator. Now, it considers effective
armor. In addition, all armor elements are included in the
calculation (screens, tracks, etc.). The red indicator means that
the penetration chance is below 20%, the orange indicator means
that the penetration chance is within the range of 20–80%, while
the red indicator means that the penetration chance is higher than
80%. This feature will allow new and inexperienced players to
understand the situation on the battlefield and cause damage more
efficiently. The indicator considers everything but burst
radius of HE shells and ricochets. The indicator displays the chance
of causing damage to a vehicle, thus all armor elements are
included in the calculation (screens, tracks, etc.). Polish
BranchQ: How can I get the Pudel? A: Follow the news on the game
portal to get more information on the vehicle and find out how to
get it. Q: Are you going to introduce the new branch of
Polish vehicles available for research? A:Currently, we are working
on a separate branch of Polish vehicles. At the moment, we are in
the process of approving candidates for the branch and collecting
historical information on them. Yet, we do not have the exact date
of introducing the complete Polish branch into the game. Q:
Why did you choose this particular vehicle? A: It was rather
difficult to find a vehicle that would be appropriate for a tier
higher than V and would not be introduced as a researchable vehicle
subsequently. We were choosing between two different Panther tanks
that fought during the Warsaw Uprising: the Pudel and WP. Both
vehicles have are rather important in terms of the Polish history.
The Pudel seemed to us more visually sophisticated, thus we chose
this particular vehicle. Q: Will you introduce the Polish
voiceovers for the first Polish vehicle? A: Yes, but at the moment
of update release only male national voiceovers will be
available. Q: Why there is no Polish branch in the Tech Tree?
A: Since only one Polish vehicle has been introduced into the game,
adding the empty Polish branch makes no sense. The branch will be
added to the Tech Tree once it is ready. Q: Will the Rudy tank
be transferred to the Polish branch? A: We are working out
different options regarding this vehicle. We do not like to offend
players who purchased this vehicle in order to train U.S.S.R. crew
members. Q: What about selecting a nation for the Rudy? A:
Currently, we believe that the best option is to let players decide
on their own, whether to keep it in the U.S.S.R. branch or transfer
into the Polish branch. However, the Polish branch itself will be
introduced much earlier. Q: Will I be able to rename Polish
crew members? A: Yes, you will be able to perform all standard
actions to the Pudel crew: replace Personal Data, send the crew to
the Barracks, accelerate crew training, etc.
