Re-working the textures does not seem like a bad idea, considering that "true" dynamic weather effects are a "no-no" at this point...

Overlord: Much work needed to make winter maps different from the ones we have now. Plus each new map, in this case not that "new", increases the size of the game client, which is not good at all.
