Every sane person knows that there is difference between German and Nazi. Even my grandmother, who was severely wounded by drunk Wehrmacht soldier who shot people waiting before the shop for bread just because he was drunk and had SMG, did not call all Germans nazis or fascists.
As historical sidenote:
How many "defenders of their countries" did we have in Europe?
1) Anschluss of Austria
2) Annexation of Sudetenland from Czechoslovakia
3) Annexation of Czechoslovakia with Slovakian puppet state creation, Poland and Hungary did take parts of Czechoslovakia for themselves as well
4) German attack on Poland ("Polish aggressors have attacked our territory" SS provocation)
5) Soviet attack on Poland ("protecting brother nations of Belarus and Ukraine", regaining territory lost during Polish-Soviet war in 192x - very interesting thing to study, most people ignore that war unfortunately)
6) Soviet attack on Finland (same claims, now from the Soviet side - "Finnish aggressors have attacked our troops" NKVD provocation). British and French thought about sending expeditionary corps to Finland, but finally have decided against it. Imagine what would have happened IF Britain and France would declare war against Soviet Union.
7) Soviet annexation of Baltic states and Bessarabia ("answering call of brother nations", regaining territory of Tsar's Empire)
8) German attack on Denmark and Norway. Another What if - British troops would land in Norway before the Germans?
9) German attack on Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France
10) German attack on Yugoslavia and Greece
11) German attack on Soviet Union
But I think similar threads already exist under Historical Discussion part of the forum.
