We were made aware of an inconsistency between our other regional portals and the European one. A typographic error infiltrated the initial Clan Wars Campaign Announcement, specifically this point:The following Clan Wars participant medal will be given to all players who took part in at least one battle from 21st of May to the 9th of June. Consistent with the announcements on our other regional portals this point should have read:The following Clan Wars participant medal will be given to all players who took part in at least one battle from the 27th of May to the 10th of June 00:01 UTC. We are deeply sorry for the error and it has now been amended. We realize that our players who did not receive the medal because of it are not at fault. Therefore, we have decided that: we will grant the achievement to all EU players who participated in a Clan Wars battle from the 21st of May to the 10th of June 00:01 UT
we will not change the description of the medal We ask that eligible players who have not yet received the Clan Wars participant medal be patient, as they should receive it at the beginning of next week. Please bear with us while we prepare your shiny new medals!

Jesteśmy świadomi niezgodności, jaka wystąpiła pomiędzy wiadomością odnośnie Kampanii w Wojnach Klanów na naszym portalu europejskim w porównaniu z ogłoszeniem na portalach pozostałych regionów. Chodzi tutaj o błąd w tekście, który wystąpił we fragmencie przytoczonym poniżej:
"Medal Uczestnika Wojen Klanów zostanie przyznany wszystkim graczom, którzy wzięli udział w co najmniej jednej bitwie między 21 maja i 9 czerwca."
Zgodnie z podobnymi ogłoszeniami na ten temat na portalach pozostałych regionów punkt ten powinien wyglądać następująco:
"Medal Uczestnika Wojen Klanów zostanie przyznany wszystkim graczom, którzy wzięli udział w co najmniej jednej bitwie między 27 maja i 10 czerwca, godziny 00:01 UTC."
Serdecznie przepraszamy za tą pomyłkę, która została obecnie wyjaśniona. Zdajemy sobie sprawę, że gracze, nie otrzymali wspomnianego medalu z naszej winy. Z tego względu zdecydowaliśmy:Przyznać osiągnięcie, o którym mowa wszystkim graczom, którzy wzięli udział w wojnach Klanów pomiędzy 21 maja i 10 czerwca, godziny 00:01 UTC.
Nie zmieniać opisu medalu.
Prosimy wszystkich graczy, którzy spełnili warunki lecz nadal nie otrzymali medalu uczestnika Wojen Klanów o cierpliwość, gdyż wszystkie medale powinny być przyznane na początku przyszłego tygodnia.

Um genau sein haben wir einen typografischen Fehler im folgenden Abschnitt:Die Clankrieg-Teilnehmermedaille wird allen Spielern verliehen, die an mindestens einem Gefecht vom 21. Mai bis zum 9. Juni teilnehmen. Einheitlich mit der Veröffentlichung in unseren anderen Regionen hätte es wie folgt heißen müssen:Die Clankrieg-Teilnehmermedaille wird allen Spielern verliehen, die an mindestens einem Gefecht vom 27. Mai bis zum 10. Juni teilnehmen. Wir möchten uns für diesen Fehler bei euch entschuldigen. Der Artikel wird in Kürze korrigiert. Wir verstehen natürlich, dass alle Spieler, die die Medaille nicht bekommen haben, hier die Leidtragenden sind und darum haben wir entschieden, dass:Alle Spieler, die  vom 21. Mai bis um 10. Juni ein Clan Wars Gefecht ausgeführt haben, auch die Medaille entsprechend erhalten.

Welcome to our regional contest  

Ok so to the juicy bit :

This competition is about freeing your creative spirit!
What we require of you is to take a image of a map from World of Tanks (using a snipping tool) and create a image from it by connecting the dots,hills, buildings ect ect for example....
Here is one that was submitted from a similar Turkish competition:




So basically in a nutshell, we want you to create whatever you can on the pictures from structures from the maps in game!
When submitting an entry could you submit a picture of the map before and a picture of the map after  like the one shown above

Rules: 1 entry per player. Edited entries are allowed.
All entries must be posted within this topic
Closing date for entries is Tuesday, July the 2nd at  12 noon CEST
The image must not violate the game or forum rules and the EULA
The picture should not violate moral, ethic, or legal norm, and should conform to the forum and game rules
No political-related symbols or messages are allowed There is a 2 week limit for the competition so take your time think about it design and then submit.

Please remember all entries should be submitted in this topic.

Some small additional changes maybe made to this post.

The prize for the competition winners will be: 1st Place: 4500 gold + bonus code
2nd Place: 3000 gold + bonus code
3rd Place: 2000 gold + bonus code
4rth place: 750 gold + bonus code

Your plan sounds a good one    My advice would be to stick to lower tiers also until you get used to the game a little more.
Try not to fall into the trap of "wow that tank is brilliant I must get one of those!" before you know it you have 20 tanks and no time to play them all  
I would say buying premium is worth it if you are going to spend long periods of time on the game.
If you need any help with the game take a look here also in guides and tutorials as there is plenty to see and learn.
The community here are fantastic and have a great knowledge of the game also and will help where they can
We the community team are also here to help whenever we can also, so don't be afraid to ask questions

If you are thinking of the youtube things and various other places where you have to fill in surveys, I think you maybe disappointed as none of them work as far as I know! But they may leave you with some malware and spyware for your troubles  
However, illegitimate means of obtaining gold will leave you with an account ban more than likely has the post quoted below by XerBlO clearly states .

However, I totally agree and the only way to obtain gold is through officially sponsored external promotions, in game/forums competitions, community events or official bonus codes and of course through WG's gift shop and in game.
