Currently there is no hacks or cheats for WOT and never have been as far as I'm aware.. Because everything is held and processed safely server side unlike most games. The only thing the client does is handle local graphics. Which is why WoT will require a lot more server power to handle fewer players, because the servers are doing all the work not the clients.
There is however some things that confuse the paranoid.. Such as the below..
1. Some bugs in maps, IE places where you can fire through mountains, buildings, etc.. Most of these are already fixed, but they are fixed as they are found. That's what beta is for..
2. As said above graphics is done client side. So those graphics can be edited. Like you can change the skins on tanks, Change the UI, change how your garage looks, Change your Target reticule, you can change your sounds, I know people are working on changing the flags, You can change the stickers on the tanks, and you can even change your tank model from a leopard to a maus, so you can see a Maus driving at around at 50kmph (which is really a leopard). These are all client side graphics that only you can see, that dont effect game-play at all.
3. The spotting system is buggy, So you often get shot by invisible tanks or camo'ed tanks etc.. But that doesn't mean people are playing with a startrek cloaking system hack..
4. Good arty players know the common hiding spots, So if a shell lands on your head for no reason, you are probably camped in a obvious spot, or breaking trees etc around you, or there is broken trees around you, or a hidden camo'ed tank spotting you and relaying your position.
5. Some vet players like playing small tanks for a bit of fun. I for example have a loltractor type tank decked out with a 100% crew, 100% skills, and a million credits worth of equipment on it. Currently I'm getting 71% win rate, 28% loss rate, 600 exp a game average, 2+ kills a game average, 9 kills a game max, etc,, no hacks though, just a vet on a decked out lil tank.
6. Most people that spread key-loggers with youtube type sites are organized, They own 100 youtube accounts, one for posting the "fake hack" and 99 for replying with "OMG IT WORKS and NO VIRUS"
7. There is dev test servers that a select few have access to, that obviously dont require the devs to grind for a month just to look at a Is7/Mouse/T30, so the Dev's test servers obviously work differently, occasionally there is a leak from there.
8. If you believe everything you read on the Interwebz, I have a mansion in Zimbabwe I can fix you up with real cheap..
9.... ETC ETC ETC you get the idea I hope..
THERE IS NO WOT HACKS OR CHEATS just keyloggers and people who promote them...
