I think a revamp of CW gold earnings is needed.

More along the lines of there are better options now for hanging out with the clan and earning pure gold. In a sense, CW basically got power creeped by skirmishes and strongholds.   Skirmishes pay out roughly 7k gold at the moment I would say to a team composed of members from a top tier clan. Give or take 3k gold. So 4-10k gold easily for a decent team.  This is every week of course. Equaling roughly maybe 25k gold on average over a month. A top tier super uni skirmish team will make around 40k. This is with the new utterly horrific method of gold distribution. Making 40k gold a month for around 10 teams wasn't unlikely in the old format. Now, I am not someone that has actively done CW to the point that I would know how much gold you would make if you did CW every day for a month or 5 times a week. However, I can guarantee it is not 25k gold. Again, this would be the average.   Strongholds, on the other hand, basically give you the ability to play with people in your clan (and not in your clan) whenever you want(to a very large extent) and earn goodies.   This combined with Skirmish gold gives us: 25k gold on average over a month span while still being able to play with people in your clan and do whatever the hell you want in organized play by setting up your own stronghold. Making CW hold not a large amount of value.   At this moment, daily province income ranges around 400-5k. Netting a clan MAYBE 100k gold a week. This is equivalent to what ONE team makes in a Skirmish. I say make land worth 5k-25k gold a day. This is nothing special if you think about it. A top tier clan would make maybe 450k gold a week. That is even pushing it. Split among 50 active members equaling 9,000 gold. Still less than a top tier skirmish team. If WG is scared about extreme gold hording by select individuals (Even though I don't know how that would be possible since a clan needs A LOT of members to hold 7 pieces of land) Just cap the amount of gold you can give to an individual in a week. 15k or whatever.   Just a vague suggestion without that much details. 3k-30k. 4k-30k. Whatever could work for a province. It may seem like A LOT of gold but it really isn't. Especially compared to what Skirmishes and Weekday Warfare pays out. Of course, WG seems to be scared of top players earning more gold lately. (Just look at the Skirmish changes) In that case, sorry for working to get better and trying to reap benefits for my high level play that I put work into. Last time I checked, Aaron Rodgers makes more money than Andy Dalton for a reason.

veganzombiez:   Just adding more gold to the Global Map doesn't necessarily guarantee more activity.  Adding a system that increases rewards based on activity would help increase activity, but it may not increase gudfites.  This, of course, depends entirely on the criteria the system has.  "Fight x battles within y days to earn z gold" could just result in allied clans throwing some chips and then drowning themselves, which is technically a Clan Wars battle per the system's criteria, but it's still not a battle.  Naturally, you'd add in more criteria to make the system a bit more robust, which is something I'll be working on.  Any suggestions the community would like to make are welcome.   Clan Tasks help to increase the gold and other rewards from participating on the Global Map.  Could rewards be bigger for some Expeditions?  Possibly.  I'm still tracking the various rewards that have been given out at this time, because once a player's gotten a non-gold reward, is the actual gold reward worth going for?  Or will players want to fight in an Expedition to help clan mates receive the reward?  And so on.  Have you noticed an increase in activity from your clan to participate in Scenarios/Expeditions?
