pizzastorm: Yes, ideally the damage done to your team would be spread evenly across all the players.
If there is a friendly tank on the front lines who has taken more than a few hits and you are 100%, it may be time to replace him or move to take some of the pressure off of him. Although, you should make sure this player is not in some ridiculous position that has no strategic value to the match.
