Shot traps

For example the T-127. Aiming at the upper front plat can lead the shot to ricochet into the bottom of the turret ring, jamming it. That's aiming for a shot trap.
While not necessarily a design defect, it is definitely an abuse able part of a tanks design, in general any location with a steep angle likely to bounce shots, but with more of the tank's structure above it serves as a shot trap. A lot of far forward facing turret tanks suffer from that.
