Do I need to be in a clan to be better than mediocre?

pizzastorm: It is very possible to do quite well running solo pubs. This is what I have done for a majority of my games. Granted, I learned a lot from some purple players and the forums. I would follow Jmo79's suggestion and look around for some helpful tankers to platoon with.
