World of Tanks E3 2012 Invitational Live Stream

Fog of War - I know its implementation is limited currently Trigger battles like a tourney - Training room setup allows for both teams to see each others lineup and make changes before committing to battle. Delay the stream - This is open to abuse period, moreso from the opposing sides as SIMP would have been unable to do this without someone noticing But overall my guys had fun and really enjoyed the match. With the exception of our stuck Tetrarch driver and ammo racked IS3 =). For the record as you mentioned it a few times all of Grumpy Old Men are NZ/AUS players like the Whirlpool guys and it wasn't 3am here during the event more like 8-9am Aus and 10-11am NZ.

lord_farquad: Thanks for the feedback. We actually requested a delay, and for some reason it was not implemented, so we ended up finding someone from Twitch and bringing them to our booth to ensure we had a delay... which is now active.
As I have mentioned before, we'reboth sorry if we misrepresented your team, we were going off of what we have heard, and obviously guessing some. Thank you for clarifying.

I know you guys are each looking at one side of the battle, but it isn't always clear which team you are talking about. Do you control which screen is displayed or is that done by someone else? If you can control it and limit how many times you switch then it would make it easier for the audience (esp. those who are being introduced to the game) to follow along. Perhaps that is a difference between watching it live and online. The replay I saw of the first match today (Wed) on the arctic map on twitch.com featured less 'jumping' than I remember seeing in the Tuesday streams. It would also be nice if the display would show which team was being shown. This might require a mod (like the one that you've made to hide the chat). Long term, it would be nice to have a view that shows both sides of the battle--either side by side or together in the same screen. If on the same screen, then some mechanism to show if they unit is visible to the other team would be needed. Thanks, Bruce

lord_farquad: There is actually a different team controlling which feed is currently being displayed, and neither myself nor nagatron can actually see what's being displayed. This is something we have noted to change in the future, as you have pointed out it would be much easier for us to know what you are all seeing and comment on that if we had a monitor showing us what you are seeing.
We also intend to have overlays displaying each team in the future.
Thank you everyone for the feedback, please feel free to give us more! We are doing the best with what we have, but we know there is always room for improvement. I believe next time will be even better as we have learned a lot from this experience.
