post, to gather feedback. Doing something different for a month
doesn't mean weekly tournaments won't be coming back. And the
Summer Play tournament isn't as gimmicky as some that we run - it's
very similar to the Skirmish format (group stage into single-elim
playoff) with pretty standard team size and tiers.

dance210: Yes, this is a team game that sometimes people enjoy playing solo.
The 1v1 tournaments prove popular, partly because they pay out deep
and partly because you can play solo, without needing to find a
team. Everyone has different ideas of what they consider fun.
