dance210: Changes to the Skirmish Format ALL group stage rounds are unseeded. There are four group stage rounds - Monday thru Thursday. The bottom 5% of teams will be eliminated each day during the Group Stage. Teams are eliminated based on their overall, cumulative standing each day.     Changes to Registration Week-long registration: When a team captain clicks "Apply for Tournament," the team will automatically be accepted. Weekend only registration: When a team captain clicks "Apply for Tournament," the team will show as Pending Approval. Teams in Pending Approval will not be accepted until after the registration period has ended.   Changes to Prizing Group stage gold is paid out per day, depending on the cumulative standing each day. If a team makes the Top 10% each day, they will earn a total of 2,000 gold (500 x 4 days) If a team makes the Top 10% twice and the Top 11 - 20% twice, they will earn a total of 1,700 gold (500 x 2 days + 250 x 2 days) All gold will be paid out at the END of the group stage Playoffs are broken down into four categories. Alpha: Top 20% of teams, based on Final Group Stage Standings; seeded based on final rank Bravo: Top 21 - 50% of teams, based on Final Group Stage Standings; seeded based on final rank Charlie: Bottom 50% of teams, based on Final Group Stage Standings; seeded based on final rank Weekend: All teams that registered for weekend only playoffs; unseeded
